Hmmmm....... liberal media?
Let me get this straight. Green's out-of-state donations questioned article is placed in the JS metro section, while this article concerning Governor Doyle's aide meeting with utility executives is considered prime page one material.
In the first place, one may consider the governor's office communication with a utility and a regulatory agency concerning a nuclear power plant sale is well within the responsibilities that we give to the governor. Some would be glad that the governor's office was interested.
It also seems equally reasonable that after the sale was first rejected that the petitioners would resubmit a proposal taking the reasons for the rejection into consideration. Therefore their may not have been a reversal of the previous decision but an approval of a revised plan.
As far as donations are concerned, it would be much more beneficial for the Republicans to use their obvious auditing skills to look at where Green and his Washington friends have been spending or rather wasting our tax dollars.
Who were the folks that met with VP Dick concerning energy policy? Oh yeah, apparently that's none of my business.
